Massenez 150 years
“The link with the Maison Massenez is very old,” says Thomas Mack, who is responsible for Europa-Park Resort’s hotels, catering and events. “This meeting took place through my father Roland Mack and Gaby Massenez. Our companies have similarities,” he points out. “They have solid foundations: Massenez is celebrating its 150th anniversary and “Mack Rides” – a company that built rides – was founded in 1780. The amusement park was inaugurated on 12 July 1975. Our two companies export their know-how internationally, they are reference brands. This is also the reason why we work together. I am delighted with the partnership we have established and hope it will continue,” concludes Thomas Mack.
“According to the archives, Europa-Park is the distillery’s first export customer”, says Elodie Naslin. “It symbolises the origins of the internationalisation of the Massenez brand. Our Eaux-de-Vie and Liqueurs have been served in their bars and restaurants for decades”. “It is a magical place, a place of escape and travel that inspires us.
